The temple corridor of the 16 th century
The pillared corridor is entirely in stone , with large slabs of stones interlocked into each other . This is a sixteenth century temple which has stood the ravages of time ,built using building techniques that did not need any cement or lime as bonding material . This temple, dedicated to Lord Venkateswara , has some of the finest sculptures depicting figures of characters from the Hindu epics like the Mahabharata.
